Use the following Mobile County routes for the most common record requests:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Arrest, booking, and jail records: contact MCSO Central Records or Metro Jail
- Criminal history and personal rap-sheet review: follow ALEA CJIS Form 46 instructions
- Official statewide checks: use the authorized ALEA channel that fits the request
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement: file in Circuit Court for the county where the charge was filed
